DeKalb Goodwill Store

VOLUNTEER INCOME TAX ASSISTANCE PROGRAM

Are you looking for a unique way to help your community, while also gaining valuable volunteer experience? Join one of the top ranked Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) teams in the state this coming tax season, sponsored by Goodwill Industries of Northern Illinois and United Way of Rock River Valley.

There are many different roles available at Goodwill’s VITA sites, and no experience is necessary to become a site volunteer.  Volunteer opportunities include tax preparers, quality reviewers, greeters, clerical assistants, and interpreters.
